Relational, Actionable, Transformative Health
Long before it was my name, a rath was a circular structure that kept clans and communities safe, connected, and whole. That same idea sits at the centre of my work: care that is Relational, Actionable, and Transformative. I'm Corey Rath MacKenzie, and community has always been at the centre of everything I do. From coast to coast to coast, I work with community health organizations and health systems across Canada.
Policy & Planning
I help you build strategic, multi-year plans that carry your vision into the future. I support the development of the governance, administrative, clinical, and operational policies that put those plans into action.
Frameworks & Funding
I collaborate on framework development and wholistic funding strategies that reflect your priorities. This includes the structure, models, proposals, and resource plans that bring them to life and sustain them.
Accreditation & Quality
I bring practical, strengths-based support that includes accreditation readiness activities (e.g., mock reviews and surveys), getting documentation ready and in place, and building quality improvement plans with your team.
I am a health system specialist. I know how the pieces fit, where they tend to break, and what it takes to make them work.
I help turn vision into plans, policy into practice, and frameworks into funding that holds. RATH Collective brings all of that together in one place, in service of the communities and organizations doing this work.
What I bring is deep respect, a genuine passion for community health, and a commitment grounded in relational accountability. At its fullest, community holds culture, customs, and care. It holds purpose and meaning. What is more important than that?
I am a father, husband, uncle, brother, and son, with roots in Nova Scotia. That belonging shapes how I show up, what I listen for, and what I believe systems should protect. I am also a nurse with a master's degree in health policy.

Places that Ground the Work
My work takes place on the traditional territories of many Nations. I offer my respect and gratitude to the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples who have cared for these lands and waters since time immemorial, care for them today, and will carry that relationship into the future. As someone with settler roots, I hold that history with honesty, and I try to show up in a good way. These are a few of the places that have shaped my path.
